About Connie MacKenzie

I have lived and worked in the Bay Area for 38 years and have raised 3 uniquely, wonderful children. I garden, am an amateur photographer, have been in a book club for 30+ years and am an ex-chef. I have a personal commitment to community service and have worked to maintain strong roots in the communities I live in by being involved in some form of volunteer service since the age of 12. I enjoy travel, snorkeling, sports events, exploring the Bay Area and the many varied local community events that our culturally rich Silicon Valley provides us.

I have extensive experience counseling adults, children, teens, couples, and families. I stay abreast of advancements in the psychotherapy field by regularly attending trainings, events, and seminars in my profession.

I create a sex-positive, gender and LGBTQ-affirmative atmosphere.

Credentials/Degrees:

I am a LCSW, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and Licensed Psychotherapist with a Master’s Of Social Work and hold a BA in Psychology. I am also trained as a Hypnotherapist and Social Gerontologist. As a Registered Yoga Teacher, Reiki Master and Body Work (Massage) Professional I hold Multiple Certifications and am well versed in Somatic Awarenes
